St Helen’s
is in the centre of Stapleford
with free parking in nearby
Cliffe Hill Avenue
or Victoria Street
public car parks and limited on-street parking around the church.
A limited number of ‘disabled’ spaces are available right by the church door
(enter via Frederick Road and leave via Church Street).
The area is well served by Trent Barton busses, who have an
interactive route map
on their web site.
Because of the age and style of the building, there are certain limitations
with facilities. However, pushchairs and wheelchairs can be easily accommodated.
We have a hearing loop fitted and large print service books are available.
We do our best to make everyone feel welcomed, and will do whatever we can
to make our church accessible for everyone.
There are toilets in the church hall, together with crèche and
baby change facilities all available during every service and activity.
St Luke’s
has a hearing loop and a ramp and easy access into the building,
which also has a toilet and small meeting room all accessible to people with less mobility.
‘I’ve been at St Helen’s now for ten years and
it feels like this is my church family’ Susan
