Getting married at St Helen’s
Are you looking to get married?
Congratulations if you are!
Many people have been married here down the years and although there are now lots of venues to choose from,
St Helen’s is still very popular. People who come to get married here often talk about it ‘feeling right’
to get married in church.
And we have our wonderful newly refurbished Church building for you to feel at home in.
Peter, our vicar says:
“It’s a real privilege to make the church available for weddings.
It’s great to share in the joy of the couple’s wedding day – even though many of the
words spoken and sung on the day are similar, each wedding has a unique and special atmosphere of its own.”
New possibilities with the new laws
More people than ever before can get married at St Helen’s -
not just residents in Stapleford, but also those with past connections to the town and church,
and those who become part of the congregation wherever they live.
We are also open to marrying those who have been through divorce in the past.
